Wiper pulse board

So I’ve been searching forever to try to find a new pulse board. Mine is damaged and no longer works. I have not had any luck trying to find a replacement and it appears that they are no longer being made or there aren’t any replicas.

So does anybody have any experience on a different motor and pulse board that can work?

I figure somebody has to have some experience with something aftermarket or from a different vehicle that can get put in and work

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Wiper pulse board

What year is the Wiper Assembly ??

IIRC the later style ( 88-92) Thirdgen Wiper Assembly was also used in some other GM cars. If you don't want to go with used parts, you can still find NOS sometimes:

Here is a older thread with all the wiper info that might possibly help you find what you need !

Re: Wiper pulse board

Ya',.. the 88-92 will bolt-up, but it's a different Assembly and the cover IS different; What you need will be from an 84-87.

The older they get, the harder they are to find ! The problem I always had with the Wiper Assemblies is that I couldn't tell if it was a High/Low or a "pulse" unit just by looking at it. I'm sure you can tell once the cover gets removed - but not when just looking at the thing ! I know that the 84-87 Wiper Assemblies are getting harder to come by, but with some persistence you'll be able to find sumthin'. I do have a couple of these on my own garage shelf right now - but I don't have a away to ID and am not interested in climbing up to that shelf to take them apart to figure out exactly what they are when I can't even test them.

I searched quick and found this,...... Item # 236692361214 . If you send the auctioneer a question asking to see pics of the Wiper Motor itself AND the turn signal stalk on the column, then you might get lucky and have found a cheap 'pulse' Wiper Assembly. If not him - then post a "wanted" add in the TGO classified section and eventually another member here will hook you up.

In the meantime; If I get access to an 84-87 Thirdgen any time soon - I'll test what I've got here and will update this thread if anything works.

Re: Wiper pulse board

While we're on the subject; is there an after-market wiper delay available for converting to intermittent wipers on a thirdgen?...

Is this what you are looking for?
WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT BOARD ,W/PULSE USED 84-88 F-G BODY – Chicago Muscle Car Parts , Inc.
If nothing else there is a cross reference to other car models that this board fits to do further searches.
