how to wire alternator,tack

i have just taken out my v6 out of a 88 firebird and replaced it whith a 305 i have a hoy carb and a accell dist. cant figur out how to wire my tach and also my alt. my alt is a two wire were as my old one was a three wire help please

Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
Assuming you have a coil-in-cap dist, the TACH lead should be labeled on it. It will hook up to the white whire that was originally on the coil. If you haven't changed the Tach to a v-8 one, it will read high too. If your not sure where the white wire disappeared to, it goes (leads) to the bulkhead connector (firewall, next to the brake booster).
