What is the condition it is in? Does it shift hard or is it on its last leg? Does it need a rebuild, etc.?

 

It works perfectly fine. I bought the car when it had 90,000 miles on it, and it now has 143,000. I have changed the fluid twice since I've owned it, and it is probably due for another. The last time I had it changed, the mechanic said everything looked great, and that was right around 120,000 miles. I wasn't having any problems with it. I am not using it, because the donor car I got my engine from also came with a new tranny, so I felt it stupid to put the leave the old one in as long as I was pulling the engine. As with any part, I don't want to guarantee how long it will last, but I can honestly say there aren't any issues with it right now.
