Performance Stealth Rammed 355 - 400 h.p.

Like the title says, its a chevrolet 350 block out of an 1989 corvette, has ported Aluminum L98 heads (casting 013, "aluminum L98 Corvette Heads")...with a holley stealth ram injection on top of it...

The motor was completely stripped to bare block, it was boiled, bored .030 over (making it a 355 c.i.), honed, new crank bearings, turned .010 off crank, aligned, new pistons, rods, ARP bolts throughout, high volume oil pump, new cam bearings, Comp Cams XR276 hydraulic roller cam, .503/.510 lift, 224/230 duration at .050", 1.6 ratio roller rockers, making lift about .533/.541, ported heads, manley high lift valves, comp cams valve springs...HSR intake comes with adj. fuel pressure regulator, accel 26# injectors, TPIS twin 58mm throttle body, has proform valve covers (polished aluminum)...thats all I can really think of right now...it was built by a race engine shop, everything was built for durability, its a very well built motor, and has less than 200 miles on it. It was ran, broken in, and I had tranny problems that I never resolved and now i've desided to sell everything...

I've listed as much as I can think of, but if you want to know if the motor has somethign you have on yoru mind, ask me...chances are it probably does...

I would like to see $3300 for the motor...but i'm open to offers...

the motor is still in the car, so if your interested in the car as well, let me know... here she is 1986 Chevrolet Camaro - Mike's Chevrolet "IROC Z Camaro"

1986 Chevrolet Camaro - Mike's Chevrolet "IROC Z Camaro" there are the only pics I have of the motor..

So the motor has aftermarket injection system on it? was a stock computer used or an aftermarket one. I want to know if you have a tuned chip to go along with it to stick in a stock computer. What pistons and rods and crank does it have?

yes it has an aftermarket injection, its the holley stealth ram, considered the best replacement intake for a TPI motor...creates more horsepower and a wider powerband..

i was working with PCM for less on a chip, i have one chip, but it wasn't tuned to its full potential just yet...i just lost interest and never sent the chip back for a reburn...mailorder chips take about 5-8 chip to get the tune perfect...I will be leaving the computer with the car, so no computer is included, you'll just have to get a chip burnt like I did...and chances are you have a different style computer than I do...

it has eagle I beam rods, the crank is stock, with a N/A motor a stock crank will take 450 hp or more...and the pistons are GM performance parts pistons, they retain the stock compression, but the heads were shaved a little bit more when he resurfaced them, so the compression is around 9.6 or so to 1...

its funny you say that, if you would've caught be 2 weeks ago i would've said yes. But me and my dad sat down and talked about it the other night, and I'm going to just sell the motor and leave it a roller and store it for a few years before I redo the drivetrain again...

The more I think of it, it would be stupid, its a 100% rust free car and I've had the car for 4 years and it was my first car...i was thinking more of money rather than what it meant to me when i put the complete car up for sale...

do you want the motor though?

if anybody wants the whole motor, I'll sell the computer and wiring harness with it for $3300...if you want just the intake, we'll have to work out a price on the intake with the computer and harness

I would like to keep the long block in tack, and sell the package as 2 parts (long block and intake), unless of course somebody still wants the motor as a whole.

If anybody is interested in anything, PM me, we'll work something out.

yes i would, but you have to take everything with the intake...

intake, rails, AFPR, injectors, throttle body

do you need the distributor? you'll need a small cap style with remoted mounted coil

PM me an offer and we'll go from there.

brand new everything is-
TPIS twin 58mm TB - $500
HSR intake with rails and AFPR - ~$650
Injectors - $260
Total - Little over $1400
Not to mention all the odds and ends included

sorry i would have to sell you the injectors as well, I don't want to split too much of this up. They are 26# accel's, should be a pretty easy resale.

no I won't go down that low...

and yes there are cheap TB's and expensive TB's...its like comparing cheap carbs to expensive carbs...you get what you pay for...some people would prefer to have a top notch throttle body, after all it is the heart of the intake...

I'm not looking to get what I payed for the entire intake, I just posted those numbers for respective purposes..anybody can throw me an offer, the worse i'll say is no

Id like to see a dyno sheet verifying the 400hp. Those aluminum L98 heads suck. With Vortecs or something aftermarket, id believe it.

they don't suck when they are ported. Ask any engine builder, this is a 400 horse setup...I don't have dyno sheets to verify it, but I'm not going to be a salesman and convince you that its 400 horse...because I've seen motors just like it make 385-415 horse...

Sounds like you like your set-up a little too much to part with it....HSR setups on here are going between $450-$650. Unless they become really hard to find you're probably not going to get top dollar for it here. Most people on here IMO are bargain hunters. Not that you don't have a quality setup, just trying to give you some prospective. Good luck though, and you could always store it away with the drivetrain.......

YOu take $400 for the complete HSR setup with the distributor. I don't need the injectors or the TB. What is the casting number on the heads and what year?
