I recently upgraded to a LS1 4th gen rear and have a 9 bolt rearend/parts for sale. from my 89 IRocz

the 3 series posi carrier is broke. it has a broken spyder gear inside.

but the 3.27 ring and pinion are good. i bought it used in great shape 2 years ago and probly have 8 K miles on it since i had it installed. still in the rear but i'll take it out and inspect it more. $30 plus shipping

dont have pics of it now but will beable to get some.

i also have original 2.77 gears and posi. has about 140K miles on it but it worked great! mainly highway miles. posi had both wheels burning out well. had about 4 passes on these gears/posi. no slicks tho. gears are in good condition.

9 bolt PBR brakes... from my 89.. these are the aluminum PBR calipers and 11.65inch rotors. I will include rotors, calipers with Bendix Titanium metallic pads (only about 3500 miles on pads), backing plates..etc. all necessary stuff to bolt onto another thirdgen rear. no ebrake cables tho. asking $200 shipped

9 bolt rear end axles...both are in great condition. make offer on these.

i dont think i can ship the housing so that will be local pickup only if you want it. make offer on the housing. has LCA relocation brackets welded on

will that posi unit out of those 2.77 gears work for my 3.27 gears??? or wont it because its from a 2 series carrier? if it will work i am interested in your posi unit, let me know

well do you want to sell it or not? im on so many forums looking for parts i dont even pay attention tho who im replying to, would that lsd work on a 3 series carrier? if not im going to keep looking.

 

no it wont work...2.77 is 2 series. 3 series carriers are for 3.27's and up

actually i bought this carrier a long time ago for abit less than 90 bucks shipped...and now its broke. i was gonna try and buy a good one to replace it, so i could keep my 9 bolt rear just in case, but decided its not worth it in the end. i didnt want to spend well over 100bucks for another, i have a 10bolt now and i'm happy
