I know most folks try to use the '94-'97 style intakes for conversions to an L98, but I often wondered "why?". While the 93 does not have the fuel rail crossover at the front of the intake, take a look at a MiniRam - it doesn't either! And everyone knows how good those are. So why does it matter? Personally, I think the LT1 (and MiniRam) are a lot better looking without the extra fuel rail cross-over. IMO anyway...

I don't know why no one is jumping on this for an intake conversion. The 92-93 Vette intakes have the same fuel rail geometry as the TPIS Miniram, and not having the cross-over at the front makes for a lot cleaner looking intake in my opinion....

 

I think everyone is Christmas shopping, instead of buying car parts. To heck with shopping, I'm buying car parts!!
