Well, had plans for a project but due to possibly moving here soon the time and money just won't be there to finish it.
Here is what is up for sale:
98 LS1 Complete Motor - Fresh rebuild with around 300 miles on it.
Intake to Oil Pan (doesn't have manifold, flywheel and some accys)
Throttle Body
Sensors
Injectors/Rails
853 Center bolt heads (currently at TSP getting ported/polished)
REV 2.02 and 1.57 valves
Dual Valve Springs
Ti Retainers
Will come with a cam just not 100% sure on specs yet from TSP
Red fuel rail covers
Harness but no PCM
Top part of the engine is apart right now but the rotating assembly is still intact.
4l60e Auto Transmission
I don't have all the parts but I do have a 98 4L60e. It has 100k miles on it, it was slipping intermittently when it was pulled, but it still has plenty of life in it. It has a transgo shift kit in it as well.It had a tranny cooler on it for the last 30k miles.
No torque converter or other parts with it.
Would prefer local pickup but shipping can be arranged at buyers expense. Probably wouldn't be to cheap.
Not 100% what to ask for it but here is a price. Also pics below are of the engine before it was taken apart for the head work.
Price: $3000 obo

Thanks,
Mike

Well right now SheldonZ28 has contacted me on the motor so I am seeing what we can work out.
I have had a few other PM's but right now the highest offer on it has been $2,600 + shipping.

It's not full apart.
Only things off are the heads, intake, valve covers etc...
Only real part that takes alittle attention getting back on is the heads for torque specs and order.
Other than that the rotating assembly is all in once piece and has not been removed from the block.
I can put it together for someone but it will just have to come back apart for the cam.
Apart or together it's value shouldn't be any different since it still has a fresh rebuild with tons of head work and a cam.
But I will let you know if it falls through.
Thanks,
Mike

yeah I guess you are correct, I forget it was all being rebuilt. This year is the year I was going to build my L98, but have been doing more and more price searching and such, and see that it would be about the same price to get an LS1 & T56 compared to the engine I wanted to build. SO I am going the LS1 route instead of building another motor.

Yeah, that is what I debated as well and was going to do the LS1 in my 3rd gen...then was going to put it in a spare 2nd gen RX7 but now I don't have time to finish it.
I have not got a response back from SheldonZ28 so not sure if he wants the motor or not so it might be available again.
