350 engine for sale

I have a 1990 truck motor 350. It has brand new bottom end bearings, all oil clearances have been plastiguaged and are good, Also has brand new summit pistons. The motor is not completely assembled, but the whole crankshaft, and pistons are in, just needs the oil pump, and cam / timing chain installed. It also come with two sets of 305 heads. The cam it comes with is a bran new ZZ4 roller cam. This motor come with everything to complete the build, all gaskets, roller lifters, everything! I am only asking 450 OBO. This is a good deal, that cam alone retails for 250ish brand new. contact me at volumebikertom@yahoo.com for more info. I live in new smyrna beach florida just 10 minutes south of daytona.
----------
forgot to add, this is a tune port motor, all of the tune port parts come with the motor, intake runner, injectors, etc.

Re: 350 engine for sale

dang, the go cart is pretty tempting, but the point of selling this is to try and cut down on the amount of stuff and hobbies I have, lol, so trading wouldn't help to much man.

Re: 350 engine for sale

i see you are planning on running a roller cam in this engine, but was it originally a roller motor? the bosses to hold down the spider are there and the lifter bores are machined flat to accept the dog bone retainers, but the bosses don't appear to be drilled and tapped. were you intending on running a retro-fit roller?

Aren't the dots on the pistons suposed to go to the [I]front[I] of the motor? Sorry, something that caught my eye.

Re: 350 engine for sale

Yes, normally the dots on the pistons should all be arranged facing the front of the motor. Unfortunetly I had a freind who works at a engine shop press them on for free, This is how the ended up, I was mad, called summit tech line and asked them if there is a difference. They said no, the pistons will work missmatched and facing all different ways. The dots and lettering are simply for if the motor is rebuilt again after using these pistons, then the dots are there to ensure proper alignment. So the pistons are exactley the same either way.
