STRANGE 12 BOLT IL
well im thinking of going to a ford 9 inch.
so who would want my 12 bolt? its a strange unit with 33 spline axles, spool, 4.30 gear or if someone pays for the gear i'll pay to have it put in. It's an inch shorter on each side (3rd gen length) this was in my 95 camaro. in Great shape. I do believe it has the plug in's for abs but i would have to double check.
it has the upgraded cover and 1350 yolk
this rear end is about 2200 with out the upgraded cover
1800 obo
AGAIN THIS IS A 3RD GEN CORRECT LENGTH

Re: STRANGE 12 BOLT
How many Miles on the rear axle?
Does it have all the brackets welded on? (sway bar)
Include brakes?
What else would i need to swap this into my car?
Im located just south of chicago, and would be more than willing to pick up.
Thanks,
richard

Re: STRANGE 12 BOLT
all brackets are welded on but my sway bar does not come with the rear ( i have a bolt on drag bar) your stock sway bar will bolt up or an aftermarket.
it does not come with brakes but it does come with backing plates.
ur in lansing and im in schaumburg so we arent very far at all.
the rear end has probibly less than 2000 miles tops because i dont drive the car that often.

Re: STRANGE 12 BOLT
I have a 10bolt with PBR disk brakes right now, do you know if the backing plates will work? I think the brakes should probably swap right over if they do.(i will search as well).
Did you purchase it new?
How was the spool on the street?? Lots of chatter?

yea i bought it new, and as long as your not road racing the spool is just fine. On slicks you dont even notice it unless you are pulling a u turn or something.

Re: STRANGE 12 BOLT
As much as i would love to purchase this from you, i think im going to have to pass on it.
Ive searched and my 92PBR's will not swap over, id have to get 93 up style brakes.
I would also love to auto-x the car and would need to replace the spool for a posi unit.
Its adding up to be too much money+plus the cost of the rear axle. Sorry.
If i hear anyone interested, i will pass them along to you.
