I have a complete 5spd conversion for a 3rd gen. Everything from the pedals to the tremec output shaft. This is as complete as it gets. Comes with newer ram clutch, and slave cyl. All parts are in good condition and were not used that long. Switching to an auto. Prefer not to ship but will at buyers expense.

Did you have any problems whatsoever with the transmission, or the whole set-up? What bellhousing does it come with? Will the stock driveshaft work? Will the stock torque arm bolt up as well?

 

I used it for a little while and it worked great. It uses the stock bellhousing with an adapter. Yes you can use your stock ds, this one comes with a yoke to adapt it. And it has provisions to use your stock torque arm.

It is the TKO before the 500 & 600 were out. It has the stock shifter.

What are it's torque handling capabilities? How old is the transmission itself? What are the gear ratios?

This link will provide you with all the specs. It is the standard TKO w/ the .68 fifth gear ratio. There are guys in the 10's on this exact trans and a few mustang guys in the nines with the ford version. The trans itself was bought in late 2003 early 2004 when I still lived in Southern IL.
