Non A/C Box with blower motor Heater
I have 3 non A/C box in very nice shape. They come with box motor and about 12 inches of wiring

Does the Non-AC box cover the same amount of firewall that the AC box does? I had my engine bay painted with the AC box installed and I dont want old paint being visible after the box swap.

I am sorry but I dont know. I put one in mine but all the paint was old so I could not tell.

From the pics I have found, it looks like the footprint is the same. One last question, I am sure it has been covered somewhere on the board, but a search brought up too many results to look through. From what I did see, the motor in my AC box wont fit in a Non-AC box. Can I just splice the wires that led to my old motor to the new one? Or is the swap more involved than that.
