Re: Parting 88 GTA

Yeah, I hate to do it too. I bought it to fix up for my son only to discover the frame is off by 3/4 of an inch, right side of car is short. On jackstands neither door will open, has cracks in trans tunnel and pass a-pillar is crumpled at the base. I'm upset, this would have been a great project provided it had a good platform to build from.

Re: Parting 88 GTA

What about the wheels?
I'm guessing you would keep them?
If not, any info on them.
Thanks.
BTW, a GTA would be my all time most wanted car. Someday I'll own one, but I have a feeling that by the time I get one the doors won't open on jackstands either

Re: Parting 88 GTA

I'll sell them eventually, but need them to move it around for now. It has new aftermarket wheels and tires with correct backspacing for a thirdgen. When I sell them, around $450 for all. If I were to guess, less than 2,000 miles on the 245/50/16 tires.

Not shipping the trans. You're better off buying one local.

Re: Parting 88 GTA

The drivers GFX....how much if its in perfect shape?
The underside usually gets scuffed, thats OK. But if its split anywhere underside, etc. then thats not OK. I can tell you how to remove it also. THX

Does it have a leather e-brake handle and/or shifter?

Re: Parting 88 GTA

Drivers GFX is not in perfect shape and not cost effective to ship. I have the leather e-brake handle and shifter, both perfect shape and both for 15 a piece, another 15 to ship so, 45 to your door. LMK

Re: Parting 88 GTA

BUMP! Still have a lot of good parts left and most are pulled. I'm trying to get this out of my gargae by next week so if you need anything cut from it LMK ASAP. Still available: Serpentine setup, LeBra, TPI manifold with sensors, ECM and wiring harness, T-tops, 16x8 polished Al rims with correct backspacing for 3rd gens, lowering springs, fenders, dash, gauges, some plastics, nice grey carpet front and rear, hatch struts that work. GFX, Hood, doors, front/rear bumper covers, dash - could ship if willing to pay the extra shipping. Let me know what you need!

Re: Parting 88 GTA

Tail lights are a package deal. The drivers side is in great condition and would sell it for $35 alone. The passenger side has a mounting stud broken off, you can't tell when it's installed other than it lets air in and gets dingy looking. The center section also had damaged mounts. The mounts to the center section broke when it was removed. The center section is still usable but will need washers to help secure once installed. All for a fair price; $50.00 shipped. Use what you want, but basically pay for the drivers side plus shipping and I'll give you the rest.

I'll have to check my box of nuts/bolts. I'm pretty sure I have em. It's gonna cost more to ship than what I'd charge you though..LOL.

Yep, have them. How's $12.00 shipped sound? I'd give them to ya if you were here, but I'll need to cover shipping.
