Cammed 305 and 350 block
Cammed 305 and 350 block
I have a 305, with a LT1 cam from a 94 vette, and a set of valvesprings/rockers/nuts/retainers/locks and brand new valve stem seals installed on it. engine has approx 50k miles on it when i got it, planned to use it as a turbo engine, i installed the cam in it, etc. as of right now it has no front cover on it. ill send the cover with it. no valve covers on it, and no intake on it. still has the flexplate on it. would like to see 150 bucks come from it. you either pay for shipping or pick it up. located in pensacola fl.
also have a 350 block sitting here. 75 bucks obo pick it up or pay shipping. its a 2 bolt block.

Re: Cammed 305 and 350 block
someone needs to buy the 305. i wanna see what kind of performer it is. i was aiming for 500hp with the turbo setup. the cam is perfect for a turbo app, that particular lt1 cam happens to have a 117lsa, anybody familiar with the turbo's knows thats a good turbo cam.

Re: Cammed 305 and 350 block
see the turbo hanging off the engine?
exact combo was going like this:
305
lt1 cam
lt1 valvetrain (springs, retainers, etc)
edelbrock vic jr intake
csu 750 carb
Mpt-70 .96 a/r
15-20psi
should see 500+ no problem.

i dont have a 305 block, i have a 305 long block, its from a ~50k mile 1991 camaro. i have installed a lt1 cam in it, and installed new valve stem seals, and installed a set of lt1 springs, retainers, and locks on it. it should ride out pretty well, it was gonna be a bad mother ****er in the camaro, but like i said, i bought a different ride and this turbo setup has got to go.
obviously it doesnt come with the turbo, the turbo header, or intake manifold.
the 350 block on the other hand, thats out a 73 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton pickup truck, its a 2 bolt main block, needs to be bored i think? i dunno i bought it as a long block and took out all the stock stuff and tossed it, i have the crank for it still but the crank needs to be cut also.

Re: Cammed 305 and 350 block
The 305 was pulled out of my car. Had 50,000 original miles on motor when pulled. Ran GREAT. Sold it to him for his 305 turbo project, then he ended up getting another car.
