UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar - $80

UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar

Used for less than 2000 miles. Rod end is tight with no slop, just as it was when new. Poly bushing is also in excellent shape and looks almost new.

edit - new price

Re: UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar

Hey, how's it going? I never understood the reason why a guy would need an adjustable panhard rod. What does adjusting it accomplish? I keep trying to figure it out in my mind, and nothing is coming to me. Thanks.

Re: UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar

It allows you adjust the side to side position of the rear end. When you have all aftermarket suspension pieces (adjustable torque arm, lowered ride height, adjustable LCA's, etc) you could end up in a situation where the rear end is not centered under the car. The adjustable panhard bar corrects that problem.

Even 100% bone stock, the rear end can be off center.

With the stock 16" 245s, I never noticed. Putting on 17"s with 285s, one side was flush with the outermost top edge of the lip, the other side was in 1/2".

So I got a UMI On-Car Adjustable, Double Rod-Ended Panhard Bar. It lined up the rear end & tires perfectly now & i have zero regrets for doing it.
