Do you have a pic so I can gauge the condition?

Re: ZZ-409 Camshaft
I am interested in your ZZ409 when you get it out.
Question: What cam are you going with?
Thoughts on the ZZ409?
I am now running the LPE 74219 Cam w/ Super Ram, but want something a little bigger.
Do you think this would be a good choice?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: ZZ-409 Camshaft
I built a 396 small block with afr eliminator heads. I stepped up to a zz-x cam. the zz-409 ran and drove great in my 350, but i was ready to build a serious street/strip motor. I think the zz-409 is borderline slightly too big for a superram. i was under the impression that the cam u have is optimal for that intake?

I think there are some better cams out there now.
How about this one-
Camshaft, Hydraulic Roller Tappet, Advertised Duration 280/288, Lift .530/.530, @ .050 226 int./234 exh.?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: ZZ-409 Camshaft
Im no camshaft expert by any means, but iirc, the superram runners are tuned for best ve with a cam in the high teens or low 20s duration at .050. theyll pull a little past 6000 rpm and thats all. i would say a cam in the 218-222 range at .050 would be about perfect for that intake.

I'm still interested but this is the last time I'm going to ask...I hate begging. Want to sell or not?
