Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

The upper plenum is polished and painted with high temp engine paint, the runners and upper plenum are unported but the lower intake is very heavily ported. Material was welded to the upper corners of intake to allow proper gasket sealing due to the enlarged intake ports, polished throttle body was ported out to except 52mm throttle blades . It comes with all hardware(upper plenum bolts are slotted to allow installation from the inside of plenum) throttle blades, and a modified throttle cable bracket.
$1400 plus shipping and paypal fees, thanks

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Something is telling me that I should jump on this. I recently found out that there is a company that still has super rams at around 1500 for a complete set but I haven't decided yet.

If he splits the intake, at that point it is worthless because parts are hard to come by. Not a good idea to split.

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Good deal. If I didnt have a LT1 id jump on this.

As for splitting it up. If you sell the runners and plenum its not gonna hurt selling anything.
Someone is always looking for a base to go with a long tube runner setup still.

bump for a good price.

I'll take that LM1 if you part with it..

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

I just got the lm1, Ive gotta tune the new motor and Im sick of trying to read a narrow band 02 to tune the dfi. If anyone wants any part off the superram Ill sell what ever part you want for $1400 and Ill throw the rest in for free.. The only reason Im even considering selling this is installation difficulty, It was vacuum leak free when I pulled it off the motor but I could easily screw that up on istall

All4u... who is still selling the superram? thanks

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

There is a small performance shop that has a few, I would let it out of the bag but I don't want to till I figure out what I'm doing with my car. I have the money to buy the intake but a family emergency happened and my car money might have to go to that. If it does, I want to preserve my secret until I can afford one of their intakes. They only 4 left.

I was having a serious problem tuning my idle with the NB sensor, I think Im going to try and piggy back my lm1 to the accel and if I cant Ill just run it in open loop and set the tables with what I see on the afr readings.

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Good luck on your sale, if you still have it when I have the money, I'll buy your's because it is $100 cheaper and I am cheap.

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Even if it was the same price a stock superram wont touch this one performance wise.....and its not polished or painted so in my opinion this is a league above a stock superram

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Paint kind of kills it for me, also porting doesn't mean much to me either. There is another member on this board that does machining and porting dirt cheap.

Re: Ported/polished Superram and throttle body

Well thats just you I guess, everyone I know considers an intake thats this extensively ported(aluminum was welded it is so opened up) and polished with paint, slotted upper intake bolts and a 52mm TB much better than a stock cast intake,, but maybe its just me and my friends ..anyway....... so everyone knows the shortblock will be back in a week from the machine shop so this intake will only be availabe for @ another 2 weeks. If not sold its going back on to the motor asap so I can get the car mobile again, once its on it isnt coming back off . All pms replied to,.... so there is no misunderstanding.... no I will not split up, no you can not make payments, lol if your that broke maybe you shouldnt be buying car parts , and no I will not except anything less than 1400. Thanks guys, dont want to be a **** but that'll answer 99% of the Q's Ive been getting.
