Hey folks, last year I decided to give up on my 383 iroc and go big instead. Like 496 big. I started off by looking for a good core. After looking and researching for a couple months I found a perfect canidate. Its was a four bolt main 7.4 out of a 97 1 ton. It had overheated and popped a head gasket. The machine shop had been sitting on it for a while and was willing to "cut a deal" as he said and sell it for 750 bucks. I persuaded them to give it to me for 600 without the heads.( not sure who made out better ) It came with tons of stuff.
-Oil pan
-timing cover(alluminum)
-relutor ring(for my 0411 computer so i could have sequential injection)
-crank and rods and stock pistons(need to be turned and resized)
-cast alluminum valve covers
-stock fuel injection intake manifold(tb,fuel rails,injectors,ect)
-exaust manifolds
-oe roller cam and followers

Anyway it cam with several pieces and it had been checked and cleaned by the machine shop and was given a clean bill of health so to speak. I started looking for parts and ran across a new skat 4340 stroker crank (4.25). this crank uses 6.385 rods and is internally balanced. It was perfect for what I needed. I was going to use my t56 trans and this crank would let me use my sbc 0 balance flywheel. I soon lost some steam on the project and have now switched back to going with some afr 195 comp heads and a miniram. Pollar opposites I know.

Well the bbc and crank have to go now. I'd take what I've got in the motor. 600.00 and I'd let the skat crank go for 450.00 + 30 for shipping. Let me know, someone out there knows tthey need this stuff.lol

I am willing to ship it at the buyers expence. I might be able to get it all on one pallet. I have shipped big stuff before, it will have to go to a buissness so you need to find one that will recieve it for you. I'll try fedex and dhl and see what it will cost.
