It's a wc t5 out of my 91 Camaro Rs with b&m ripper short throw shifter part#130-45051 and a centerforce dual friction clutch and pressure plate setup clutch part# 183-df271675 which gives you 90% holding power over stock flywheel goes with it also, drive shaft set up with 1350 u-joints (easy swap back to 1310) , and stock 10 bolt rear with drum breaks and Richmond 373 gears and posi all for 550.00 looking to sell it complete seperate 400.00 for trans comlete rear 300.00, so best deal is everything for 550.00 firm I can send pics via email located in Chicago pick up only * only reason for sale is because I upgraded my complete drivetrain all with parts bought off this site and thought be cool to give some one else the same help 550.00 for everything is a grrrreat deal aslo have slave cylinder for clutch.

I was gonna do the same thing you did and get a beefy larger rear end but that rear would be a nice quick fix for me. I noticed that in one of your earlier posts that you would ship if costs were covered. If the rear is under 200lbs (not too clear on how heavy it is) I can get it shipped to the following 58765 ND. I dont mind driving to Minot either if you wanted to use a freight company because it would most likely be easier for both of us. Let me know if you would be interested in shipping it and a cost .

I actually looked into having it shipped and it was an insane amount of money through ups freight that's why I didn't make the deal with the last guy he lived in Denver, but I tell you what if you set everything up to have it picked up from my house as is(uncrated) you you have a deal.

man i wish u posted this about 3-4 weeks from now, i just dumped $2500 on a new ride and want a wc t-5 and a rear to have on hand, lol if u still have it in about 3-4 weeks ill buy it, i live just south of chicago and can have it picked up really cheap. I am going to be a man of my word and give devilspawn 3 weeks but in response to the pm how did the t5 handle the power of my 383, it never hit the t5 there's no need in tearing up a perfectly good trans I had the t5 behind a carburated 350 universal replacement engine those engines are rated out of jegs at 260 hp and similar tq may be 275 to 300 the wc t5 is rated 300tq knowing this there was only one equation 383 + th400= ooooh yea 383+t5= kaaaabom simple math sticky tires 300tq bang bang so not trying to scare you off of buying just trying to pass a little knowledge to about what I'm selling and it's limits but that being said mybe g- force gear kit street tires. And mybe it can handle infinity and beyond?

I am curious what you replaced your tranny and rear end with and how you use the car.

I have a 85 road race Camaro and recently lost my motor. It was a 383 and dynoed at 320hp/380tq at the wheels. The WCT5 was not a problem road racing. Drag racing would load it harder. You can also upgrade the 5th gear to a .80 and install a machined piece behind it to help with strength.

I am not working on installing a new motor that may have up to 650 hp. The package includes a race tranny so my rear end will likely be weak. Looking for options for road racing.

The reason for the sale is yes I use my car for drag racing only the t5 wouldn't have survived behind a 383 ,sticky tires ,12 bolt rear with 411 gear and nitrous I'm almost sure it would have been destroyed from what I have. From what I have read and heard the t5 is only rated 300 tq so that being said i'm not ******* the trans but the th400 that I have now I no won't be giving me any trouble with inconsistant times and or break at the track and is a proven performer on the drag strip sure I could have done t5 astro build but that would have put me at 1300 just for the gears and that's to much money for still a questionable trans when you through on sticky tires
