SOLD ... NEW Ported GMPP ZZ3/ZZ4 "Corvette" heads PN 10185087
SOLD ... These are new, in the box, and have never been mounted on an engine. I bought these heads in 2004, but have never used them. They have been correctly stored standing on-end ever since.
ZZ3 and early ZZ4 heads had the "Orange" valve springs these heads have; later ZZ4 heads had different springs and retainers.
10185087 is the revised casting of the aluminum L-98 heads that came on '88 and later Corvettes with the "D-shaped" exhaust port. They have 58cc combustion chambers, 163cc intake runners, 3/8" screw-in studs and 1.94/1.50 valves, and angled spark plugs.
They flowed well in stock form, but these particular heads have been ported by Reher Morrison Racing Engines and now flow the following:
Stock ZZ4:
.300: 160 (int), 125 (ex)
.400: 186 (int), 150 (ex)
.450: 191 (int), 163 (ex)
.500: 196 (int), 170 (ex)
.600: 199 (int), 175 (ex)
After Porting:
.300: 175 (int), 128 (ex)
.400: 206 (int), 154 (ex)
.450: 212 (int), 167 (ex)
.500: 215 (int), 172 (ex)
.600: 215 (int), 177 (ex)
I have the flow sheet showing this.
Scoggin-Dickey sells the unported version of these heads for 552.95, each, plus shipping.

Pace Performance sells the unported versions for 609.95, each, plus shipping.
http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...D&ProdID=22850
I'll take 850 for these, shipped, with insurance, to anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Vicious attack dog who doesn't like to negotiate on price.

These flow nearly as well as Vortecs, and use a standard intake. They'd be great for a TPI or a TBI car where you already have your intake set.
A Vortec TPI base is 469.95 + shipping at Pace Performance
http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...D&ProdID=73239
At Scoggin-Dickey, it's 469.99 + shipping
http://sdparts.com/details/edelbrock/e3817
and 469.95 + shipping at Summit
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-3817/
Also, the 58 cc chambers will give a nice compression bump on a 350/383 that had 64 cc heads, and will maintain compression on a 305.

Compare the center pair of bolt holes to the outer bolts. If they're all the same, it's 86-older, if the center bolts are more vertical they're 87-up. Traditionally they should be the early style. I have no idea why GM didn't change the bolt angles on the aluminum heads.
