2 yrs later and I still want the heads....
I'm so close the getting hired...out of work for 18 months.
shoud know in 10 days or less if employment comes thru.
what cam do you run and what are the spring set up at, if they are useable?
If I get hired I will get the heads from you to go on one of my 406's

Re: 400 sbc and sbc alum heads
i ran a off road z cam, solid, 487/501 i think was the lift, i will be honest i did notice that the deck is no longer perfect, as a street motor the anti freeze ate at some of the water jackets, i would think they would clean up with decking pass tho, do you just want the heads or do u want heads, rockers, intake? i make u a killer deal!

Re: 400 sbc and sbc alum heads
Well some this is off, the heads in the picts u sent me do not have the steam holes drilled.
Which means it over heated in street use, was only drag raced, or used on a non 400 block.
Based on the work that needs to be done to fix the pits on the decks, check for warping fix the warp and drill the steam holes, and the price u want I for them, it would be cheaper and more secure for me to go a different direction.
Are you willing to do a money back including shipping if they are not in good shape?

Re: 400 sbc and sbc alum heads
no machine work has been done at all to the block, machining list needing done to the block is per application. was asking 275 since it was a virgin 2 bolt block.
