Re: 3.73 Ring and pinion

Do you still have the 3.73 ring and pinion gears? If so how about $100.00 shipped to 49127?

Re: 3.73 Ring and pinion

I am not knocking your auction/parts at all, i have a genuine question about the price. There is a local transmission/rear end shop that told me they would give me a set of 3.73 gears for $50. I had to pay....i think it was $85 for the set up as well, but the gears were only 50. Are the ones you are selling something special? I am wondering what you get for the extra dollars. When (ok, if) i ever switch out my gears is there a better type that I should get.

Thank you

well I dont know what type or brand of gears there trying to sell you cause if they are used or an off brand type that might explain why they are cheaper, but as for mine they are yukon which are a pretty good brand. Most ring and pinion set if you look on jeggs or summit etc go for around 120 to 200 or so. 100.00 for my set isnt a bad price.

Thank you for taking the time for the response. I kinda get what you are saying. The rougher you drive your car the better quality of metal you better have.
