I am getting rid of the trans that was in my Iroc when I got it. I did drive the trans several times. It would take off in 1st gear fine. It had issues going into 2nd gear. If you slowed the engine RPM's down enough, you could get it to go into gear. Once in second, it was fine. No issues with any other gears. The tag has been removed and the car was converted from an Auto when I got it so I don't know the year of this trans but it is definitely a WC. I am asking $75 for local pickup. Yup, just the trans. I have the factory shifter I could include. I am not crazy about the idea of shipping it, but I actually got it's replacement trans shipped to me and still have the box so I would consider it. I think it weighed about 90 lbs. Shipping would probably cost more that the trans to CA though.

If u could find out how much would be the shipping.. also I think greyhound would be an option also.. I seen them shipped parts everything I go in the bus.. also if u ship greyhound the buds station is across the street from me

Just quickly estimating at UPS guessing at your ZIP in Long Beach with 90 lb weight is $94. There is no Greyhound terminal near me so that would not be an option.

 

Yeah it sounds good to me..
So the only problem with the tranny is the transition from 1st to 2nd gear but everything else works well

Yeah Tajoe it is hard to find a good T5 deal
But after today.. I got a deal that I can resist and I think the T5 won't work for me anymore
