Car: 1987 Firebird, Dad bought it new
Engine: 5.7L Vortec w/ LT4 Hot cam
Transmission: 700r4 transgo shiftkit 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42 '02 SS 6 spd rear
$100 vortec heads
these are damaged but def worth saving i did the damage myself removing them like a jerk i tapped the valvecover lip too hard to free them up and chipped a piece out, everyone says to JBweld them... i bought another set already rebuilt for .600" lift and mildly ported so i dont need them nor do i have interest or time fixing heads im not gonna use... theyll be a good deal at $100 i got brand new manley race flow valves seals and locks & retainers to go with them just add your own springs and youll have all the hardware to build them... ill also throw in a set of sandblasted valve covers just need paint $100 picked up in zip 18428 or ill ship at your expense you can see pics of them in my build thread in the sig, or just pm me your email and ill send you some, thanks for lookin

shoveled a path through the snow to get these pics before my camera batteries died, got new ones in ill go get pics of the other head in a bit

Finally got them done check them out! Welded up the broken head. Everything is good to go.

i just notice we will be running the same combo, lt4 hotcam vortecs 3.42s 700r4 just that i have a 2800 stall. how do you like your set up?

mine is carbed with a rpm intake no tpi but i havent gotten to drive it yet because of the snow, i really like what i paid for my combo lol and i think it should get close to 350hp hopefully over 300 at the wheels and itll hold me off until i can add more CI im moving to a new house with a 3 car garage so i can finish her up the dam snow has me dead in the water, thought it was over it all melted and i could see the car again... then we get 4 more inches and counting ;( 1st of the month shell be in her new home and ill get to put the wrenches to her again, when the new rear goes in ill take it to the track, then ill let you know how the combo works
