I am selling a marine vortec intake off a 1996 chevy 1500. I pulled it off a vertec 350 pickup and my engines plans have hanged towards a different setup. I can ship but i dont know how expensive it will be. im listing it for 150 plus shipping.

I also have a set or vortec heads but im not willing to ship them they would be pickup only in NJ.

 

are these 305 vortec heads what is the part number?
How much for them?
Miles on them?
Where are you located in NJ

 

the vortec heads came off a 5.7l 350 tahoe, so i dont have a part number and the casting number is 10239906.
the heads have like 80k miles
i woul dlike probably like 300 for the heads

Don't get 305 heads. the 906s will be great on a 305. Just have them milled .030 and use a felpro 1094 gasket.

 

i was going to say these heads will work on a 305 and would be a good upgrade, and they would be worth the money in case you want to go 350 later on

 

You mean the intake with real injectors not the spider right? Just being sure.

 

heres pics of the intake, the top picture is with the plastic intake on and second one is with the intake off. i think i have a throttle body somewhere but that would be extra.

 

that is not a marine intake. that is just a plain jane vortec truck intake. worth a few bucks for the aluminum and someone might pick up the spider on ebay for some money

Marine intakes are cast iron and have injectors outside of the intake with fuel rails.

I have a truck intake on my S10 and it looks just like that.

 

Does it make sense for a marine intake to be cast iron?
Haha I don't know if it's marine or not, just wondering why the hell a marine intake would be prone to rusting.

 

cast iron holds up alot better then AL in saltwater.
