FS: Modded 87 L98 Complete
I'm thinking about selling my current engine which is the modded L98 350 that came in the car. I'll try and list everything thats done but I may forget somethings.
It started out as the 87, L98 350 TPI
Complete rebuild about 5 years / 10k miles ago (this car got driven rarely and hasn't moved in 3 years due to a bad transmission)
Heads, stock iron L98, with mild head work, 2.02 intake valves, bowl blending, new valve springs, tapped for screw in rocker studs.
Stock Short Block, Bored .030 over, all new bearings, new oil pump, new rods and forged pistons. Comp cams Compu Cam 8-302-8, Comp Cams 2 piece Billit aluminum timing cover, Comp Cams double roller timing set.
TPI is un molseted inside, but the outside is all sanded, polished or painted. Forged Aluminum "Camaro" tall valve covers. Holley Adjustable FPR and rail mounted Gauge.
MSD billit distributor, blaster coil, wires, 6AL box.
March billit alluminum underdrive pulleys, Only has Alt and power steering, no AC.
High Torque mini starter.
Has the stock MAF based computer system, with a Moates multi bin chip and remote selector. The tune that is in it really only has a few small things done. The trans let go before I really got a chance to get into the tunning to much.
I want to sell it complete, oil pan to TPI including all of the wiring, computer and sensors. If I get to it I will be pulling the engine and putting it on a test stand.
$1500 for the engine, $2000 with the test stand included.
It's a great motor, but I want to go bigger so it's got to go.

I forgot to mention, it has the aluminum valve covers that have "CAMARO" milled into them.
Here is an old picture, it still looks like this, just not as clean.

I would rather sell it complete just so I don't have to deal with parting it out, but I guess, make me a good enough offer and I might consider it. Also remember this is in WI, shipping prob won't be cheap to Vegas.

Hey, sorry I didn't post back sooner, been thinking about what I would take for trades.
Looking for UMI subframe connectors, LCAs and Panhard with Heim joints on one end and poly on the other, LCA relocation brackets, Spohn T56 trans mount and torque arm for a stock rear end. T56 rebuilt parts, Spec 3+ clutch or better, adjustable clutch master. FIRST TPI intake(just the manifold parts don't need wiring, computer or any of that) Clean set of Gold 85-87 Iroc wheels. Thats all I can think of for now, obviously depending on what you all have to trade some cash.

How about $1000 ? The long block is really where the money is, the rest of it is just bolt on stuff. At $1500 you could buy the whole thing, sell what you don't want and probably have a hell of a deal on a long block.

I wasn't planning on it, but I guess I could be convinced, $2 a mile and I'll deliver it, lol.
