The 'M' refers to the pattern in the bushing. Torque arms have an 'M' shaped cross section, and the bushing have a corresponding shape.

Some torque arms had the M facing the transmission and some were the other way around.

 

Got ya and think i know what ya mean now. Will get it out. Is there certain cars to look for that would have it facing the trans?

 

Can you still get a torque arm mount for an 86 IROC? I got a 89 Torque arm mount but it is the wrong style. Mounting bolts are too seperated. I really needed it bad. As is, Im trying to sell the 89 Torque arm mount for $40 with a very good exhaust hanger.

 

I got a couple, not sure if its your style or not. Whats ur email for pics?
