this chip came in my car, its from edwright fast chips,

its for a 91 speed density 5.7 with a manual trans, it says 21lb injectors But it ran fine with my 22lb bosch III. Selling because I changed cams and went super ram. (does not include memcal)

i thought 350 never came with a M5, only 305?

are there any other things going on in the chip like egr delete, vats delete, etc?

was it built for a special cam?

am trying to figure if it will work in my setup which is similar to yours

as far as I know, nothing was deleted maybe vats, But even that I'm not sure the car had egr, evap, air and the smog pump. the motor was just a stock rebuilt 5.7 stock exhaust .

the reason I say maybe on the vats is because when I bought the car he told me he had gotten rid of vats I never asked how...

 

hmm... alot of unknowns but it might help my car (5.7 with T5 swap).

c305 i will try and answer your question . yes it would probably work that said its not gonna work properly . there are a few parameters there are differences in between autos and manuals . vats ,timing .idlle speed , the rpm increase when you turn the ac on ,and several other little differences . at any rate yes it will plug in but its not gonna work to its potential if you stick it in a automatic car

 

I don't think it will go into lockup either.

I will buy it but what is this memcal you speak of? Do i need to get that as well?
I have 350 tpi auto that i converted to manual. Car runs good but i think it idles high 1200 rpm~

 

Get your memcal programmed for a Manual transmission or buy a memcal from this forum.

as for the memcal goes onto the adapter board you have a factory memcal in the computer you would pull it out and put this adapter board between it.

Mine is a 91' L98 AUTO . I have an eprom programmer, just need the adapter board.

 

I have a 91 350 Tpi.. It was converted to a 5speed from auto. I need to buy everything i need to change out the stock chip.

 

Also i live in CA so i need all smog on it as well

Will it work for some one. YES. will it be optimal. Prob. not.

You MIGHT be able to get ahold of ed wright ( 918-446-3019 ) and ask if they still happens to have the info on the chip. The name on the bottom with .BIN is who would have bought it.
