Bosch External 255 fuel pump great upgrade, or nitrous, blower or LS1 Swap

I have an excellent condition bosch 255 fuel pump. This was on my mustang run in tandem with another. I just swapped to a full aeromotive fuel system, i sold my other pump. It literally only has 4500 street miles. I don't drive it very often. It only had 93 in it with a bottle of torco, or race gas and it was never run below quarter tank. This pump sells for 199 I paid 249 when I bought it, they recently lowered the price on it. I am selling it for 50 plus shipping. It is universal and you can undo the fittings to run push lock, screw on or leave the 3/8 barb fittings.

Is that the model number? I can't find a similar pump that sells for 199 anywhere on eBay when I search for Bosch 255

You sold it even though you knew you gave me the wrong paypal address?!?!?
I held up my end of the bargain. I can only pay you to the direction that you give me.

Re: Bosch External 255 fuel pump great upgrade, or nitrous, blower or LS1 Swap

Come on, man. You know this is not my fault. Sure I was late paying but I asked you if you still had the pump when I got home from work. Remember this PM?......

Sorry. Got hung up at work. Still have it? I'll PayPal right now.

Yes paypal is cfishet@sterling-usa.com

At that point you could have said, "Sorry, I sold it to the first guy with cash". And that would have been fine. But you didn't. Instead you responded by giving me your paypal address..... which was the wrong address. That was your fault. I paid the second you gave me the response letting me know it was still for sale. Accept your part in this deal going sour.

So maybe he was going to be alittle late on payment. Does it really mean life or death if you get it 2 hours later? No hard feelings would have been dealt if you would've told 83lx that if the pending sell fell through with wesilva then it was all his. That is the respectful and right thing to do. That is why I said that I would take it IF wesilva didn't take it.

Its not life or death, but when I have had dozens of people tell oh I will take a part or whatever and I don't recieve money and I tell someone else it has been sold, then no I am not waiting two hours. That has happened numerous times, so I treat this site just like I do a craigslist sale, first with cash gets it. I didn't take wesilva's money, I emailed him and then he didn't respond til the next day when I posted it was already sold. Before he could even give me a chance to respond he posted neg feedback on me, so you god damn right i am going to basically tell him to go **** himself. Had this happened to another member I would have said sorry, but he just emailed and posted neg feedback before my email. So yep my email is going to be one of a total ****ing *******, if you didn't have a chance to respond in any manor and had neg feedback then you tell me what you would do.........

Two sides to every story.

I never said you needed to tell 83 that it was already sold. You tell him there is a pending sale and to wait in line. And why did you give him a paypal address after it was already sold? That's where I'm getting at that you should've just told him it was sold. He had every right to give you bad rep for that. Let alone selling it beneath him. You were even ready to sell it to me yesterday behind him. But he had dibs so I waited my turn.

Re: Bosch External 255 fuel pump great upgrade, or nitrous, blower or LS1 Swap

Don't bother, dabomb. The guy is having trouble grasping really simple concepts about basic human interaction. He's using the fact that I was late paying as an excuse. That's total bull crap. As you can see in my post above, I got hung up at work and asked if the pump was still available. 89LSX replied yes and gave me his paypal address. I paid within 45 seconds of getting that response. We were both on-line so there was no miscommunication. I sent the money to the PayPal address he indicated. It was the wrong address. That's why 89LSX keeps thinking I paid late because of course there was no money in his PayPal account. HE GAVE ME THE WRONG ADDRESS! Once I paid him at the address he indicated, I went to bed. He claims that I didn't respond until the next day when in fact he sent me this PM the following day:
Sorry I spelled my deal wrong its cfisher@sterling-usa.com, not cfishet

It was then that I noticed the pump was already sold. 89LSX you are the biggest damn liar on the site. You claim I didn't give you a chance to respond before giving you the negative feedback. BIG LIE. Here was your PM response:

Typical cheap *** third gen owner. I sold it to who has the cash, tired of buyers saying they will send the payment in a timely manner and they don't, you didn't send it two hours like stated.

Great response, genious. Flame the whole third gen community then you have the stones to use this site for selling parts and getting information for your 3rd gen project. That's real nice.

wesilva...I hope you at least get your money back. This guy gives gearheads a bad name. The flywheel I bought from you, that you promptly shipped to me, is working great in my '72 Camaro. Its not just 3rd gen guys on this board fellas.

I've bought a lot of used parts here, including a shortblock that now resides in my '72 and a transmission that lives in my '56 Belair...never one bad transaction yet. I hope we can keep it this way.

I can read quite well...and noticed that you still tried to send him your paypal address even after you knew it was already sold to someone else. Now why else would someone do that unless they were out to screw someone?

Nope, HE NEVER RESENT THE PAYPAL TO THE CORRECT PAYPAL ADDRESS, which is why lxone got the pump.... Nice try though. That was my mistake I put a t instead of an r and didn't realize til after he said he sent it. I asked him to resend, I never got the paypal so I sold it to lxone. Which the pump was sent out to him this morning. I havn't screwed anyone on this board. I have sold quite a few things and a few never received, on the promised ECD dates from fed ex or USPS so I gave full refund no questions asked, and did it right away. I have never taken dime one from any one on here Nor wil I. Everything I have sold on here, has been beyond resonable on price, and anytime someone asked me to do something I have.

89lsxtransam I hope you don't mind but this has gone on long enough. To Wesilva and others who have commented, there are two sides to every story as 89lsxtransam stated earlier. Here's the piece you're missing. Wesilva, you assumed you were the first in line and deserve the pump. If that were true, I would agree but you weren't. I was. You posted at 8:49am that you were interested, by then, 89lsxtransam and I had made a deal. I have the PM with the time stamp of 8:41am. The mistake I made was I didn't post that I had pm'd 89lsxtransam, lesson learned. If you want someone to blame, then blame me. That was my fault and I take the responsibility for it. I don't blame 89lsxtransam for entertaining other offers. All you have to do is look over the board to see broken promises. The email address was an honest mistake "r" & "t" are next to each other, he hit the wrong one. Who of you haven't made a typo? The reality is, if 89lsxtransam had typed the address correctly, Wesilva would have the pump & not me. Business is Business and I understand that. It's a pump for cripes sake, it not worth calling someone's integrity into question. Why must everyone assume the worse in people. 89lsxtransam didn't set out to screw anyone. Wesilva, I'm not here to put anyone down but you really made a mountain out of a mole hill dude. It's not worth the time and energy you've put into it and certainly not worth tarnishing someones reputation. I get the "it's the principle" concept, but what about the principle of "understanding" and moving on. You can always find fault with how a situation was handled after the fact. Hopefully when you have an issue, someone will understand and let you move on. As regards everyone else, REALLY?, you had nothing vested except to pour salt into the wound. Unbelievable! Let the thread die. It's over.

Gentlemen, if I may,

I have some involvement with 89LSX, and he refunded absolutely all of my money when USPS forgot how to ship a package. He didn't even try to weasel the shipping costs out of me, just immediately gave me all my money back. That means someone had to eat the shipping...I like this type of seller.

I hope this helps.

83Lxone, DUDE, I think you're missing the point. It's real easy to say I made a mountain out of a mole hill in the position your in. So apply your "principle of understanding" and try to grasp this. It's actually very, very simple. I was fine with the fashion in which you purchased the pump. You are not at fault in any way, shape or form.Your were given the correct PayPal address and you made the purchase. I was NOT given the same opportunity because 89lsxtransam gave me the wrong PayPal address. Even that would have settled fine with me IF....now here's the really simple part. If the guy would have owned up to it AND didn't try to humiliate me in a series of posts and PMs about how I didn't pay. In your world of "principle of understanding", is that OK? If it is, then we are done here. Can't help you understand beyond this point. Real simple. Look at my Trader Rating. Take a little time to read the Trade Summaries. Be glad to send you my Ebay account name...Over 400 positive transactions and zero negatives. I have only given three people negative ratings on this site. Two took my money and skipped out. One guy made an honest mistake but did his damndest to save face by making me the one who spoiled the deal. In your assessment of my Trader Rating, you should come to the conclusion that I don't start confrontations but I won't stand by and let another member insult me. "Nuff said. Now let's "move on".
