theres no such thing as a 5.7 manual. 5.7 were all autos until the 4th gens. if you have a 5 speed its a 305 most likely unless it has been changed.

you can use a 5.0 5 speed computer with a 5.7 though if thats what your planning to do.

Yea the t5 is from a 305, will a 350 prom with auto trans work though? I'm doing a 305-350 swap and I'm looking for the correct prom. I'm still learning the electrical part of the swap so I get a little confused as to exactly what I need sometimes

350 auto to T5 swaps are very common & will need a new PROM burned, but you can get it running & driving with a 350/auto PROM. For everything to function as if it were a factory item a new PROM will need to be burned.
