I only have a set for the rears, but weight jacks that will fit the front can be picked up from several places.

Since I'm not gonna use these as I had intended to and I already have a full set on my car, I'm just gonna sell this extra set of rears to fund other mods. Will include 170lb springs or 220lb springs, your choice. The springs have a metal tag banded to them, so you will know the weight of them.

Where are these places that sell the front weight jacks?

 

Our front springs are are standard 5.25" (iirc the right diameter) straight springs, which are commonly used on the circle track cars. I've seen it discussed here on TGO before about where to get fronts cheaper than through Ground Control. Or just buy the fronts from Ground Control.

GC will only sell them as a complete kit anymore as far as I remember. (I called and asked last year about it)

 

Usually yes.....But if you tell them that you are only needing to replace the fronts after an accident & show them that you have the rears? They will sell just the fronts. that is what they were going to do for me after I provided a pic showing that I already had their rear set. I was gonna do that but lucked upon a used complete set for the price of just fronts, so I got the complete set instead.

But there are other, cheaper places to get front weight jacks anyways. Not like your restricted to only getting some from GC.

I know it doesn't help with your lb rate issue. Just wanted to point out that fronts can be gotten.

 

Oh.....And GC sells any lb rate rear springs for $59.

Ya I have a list of everything needed to make your own front from speedway motors , etc..

Id be interested just hate to toss your springs on a shelf since not needed.
I want to go 250 rear and 1100 ish In the front.

 

I do have a set of 220lb springs that I can include instead of the 170s, for the same price.
