parting out 2 88 Camaro's V6, V8 one manual trans, non AC
There are a lot of good parts on these V6 cars-
one has a manual trans- everything is there, clutch, pedals, trans, etc
both are non-AC, so I've got all the items that go with them, the underdash plate to turn on/off vents, controls, boxes, etc.
Have the TPI top end, one wants to start, but rusty gas line is keeping it from doing that....
pulleys, etc are all there.
non tilt columns
I also have a good running 305 TBI from another 88- can still hear it run, since I haven't pulled it.
Let me know your needs, and make offers on items.

How is the condition of the manual shifter? Does it still have the shifter ****/handle? How much with shipping to 33860?

Looking for the AC delete box from one of these cars with the blower. If you have some pics that would be great. Sending you a PM
Forgot to mention, I am also looking for the clamshell side of the motor mounts if those are available as well. The side that bolts to the engine block and connects to the frame side engine mounts.

Once I get back from church, we'll get working on getting these parts out.

I've been looking for the rear power steering pump bracket for a non-A/C car forever and a day (2 nuts hold it to the rear of the pump and another to the exhaust manifold bolt and a bolt possibly in the engine block). Also need the pulley on the pump (just the pulley... Have 2 pumps already) if the part number ends in 597 (14100597).

How did that firewall bracket work for you?

Re: parting out 2 88 Camaro's V6, V8 one manual trans, non AC
Need to find another bolt for it... Good thing I saved pretty much every fender bolt and "nut" I had on the 87 and other parts cars. Had to scrounge up the screws that hold the MAP on, though. It's working, but it's loose because of the bolt.
But, seriously, I need the pulley more than the bracket (but the bracket would be nice to help get just a tad more belt wrap on the crank), and I need it soon. That, the belt I need the pulley to measure for, and the fuel pump power wire are the only things stopping me from starting the engine for the first time in 3 years (wish I hadn't messed up my original pulley
!).

Oh, and I also need both parts of the catalytic converter hanger off of the T-5 car (mounted to the trans tail housing and the cat flange) and the rear intermediate pipe hanger (pass side behind the rear wheel, not on the tail pipe) off of the V8. I need to see a pic of the rear hanger first to make sure it's the right one.

don't have a 3.1 harness, I am fairly certain I have a tilt column, I will check on the sunvisors.
From what I can see of the shifter, it's clean, and does still have the ****/handle. Let me get it out today....
got it, and I will get that pulled out later today, and I do have the motor mounts- haven't gotten that far on teardown, but will work on it.

Hubby was pulling it off at 8 something last night- got tied up yesterday longer than he expected working on putting an engine in my nephews car.
Got it, we're gonna hopefully have good enough weather to get things removed.
