With the air cleaners it's probably about 3-4" taller than a regular Superram.

Re: 8-Stack Superram Intake/Stacks/Runners/Base

This would be so cool on a rat rod....old school style with modern fuel injection. Did you design and build this yourself?

Nice piece. Free bump.

Re: 8-Stack Superram Intake/Stacks/Runners/Base

No, I got in a trade for what somebody owed me.
I had a guy that was going to put it on a '34 rat rod but he said it looked "to modern". Go figure.

Ok, let me ask this way.
What did it come off of, L98.
question is, is it a bolt on applucation, if not what does it need

It's bolt on. It came off of a running 434 in an '86 Vette. It didn't have a hood on it when I went to get it so I'm not sure how it will fit under other applications either.

Hard parts are all there.

Re: 8-Stack Superram Intake/Stacks/Runners/Base

I will say what others might say. The ECM can be an issue, throttle set-up will not be a direct bolt-on, fuel lines will need to routed and truly, You will either have to make your own hood or run without one.
Then the issue is: You are going to give more information - sell the sizzle, we see the steak. How much performance will this add vs. a stealth or superam that resides under the hood? What is the powerband and will this go over 5500PRM or fall on its face at 5200 RPM. What will the ECM need to be coded to? Where are the pictures of the fule rails and linkage? Some close ups might help too. Will your stock fuel lines connect without mods?
I personally love it but not willing to take a risk buying something I am going to have to dump money money in to make work and then gain hardly anything. FOr this kind of money I would rather have a small supercharger under the hood. This has an impressive look, now what does it do? (others will need to know because I just like to look at it)
