Shawn87GTA,

what are you asking for this set-up? have you used it yourself? have a number where you can be reached?

Re: LT1 top end, heads & intake, mod'd for L-98 TPI

I"ll post pics & a more complete list tomorrow & figure out what I have in everything, just trying to get my $ back out of it. I wasn't sure if there would be any interest, I've been out of the hobby a long time. I never ran the setup, messed my back up before I got it together and wasn't able to work on it anymore so it's all just been gathering dust for 8-10 yrs in my garage.

Re: LT1 top end, heads & intake, mod'd for L-98 TPI

I looked the heads over today, the intake runners are gasket-match ported, exhaust is not. The intake bowls have a slight amount of cleanup right below the seats & short side radii. Exhaust bowls have a bit more work below the seats, looks like they're done right. Chambers may have been lightly polished, they cleaned up very easily. I didn't do the porting so just relaying my observations. Looks like someone followed the standard porting punch-list for these heads. In the pic showing the chambers you can see the areas on either side where the 6061-T6 plugs were welded in & milled flat. Just need to drill the coolant hole. I have the valves, springs, etc all bagged up in zip lock bags.

These pics show the porting for the 52mm TB, the area where it's mod'd for a distributor, the angled spacer & dist lock-down, and the fuel rails.

I will take $650 for the heads, intake and all the parts. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. I would rather sell as a matched set, those who have expressed interest in the heads or intake separately, I'll get back with you if they don't sell in a few days.

Edited to say I'm in Louisville, Ky.

Shawn,

Where are you located in Louisville? I am in the E-town area and would like to look at those parts...

Disclaimer: I did NOT do the porting! It's not as pretty as it could be but will function perfectly fine. The bowls are done right for mild improvement (street use), that's what matters most.

I'll try to take some pics tomorrow, limited on close-ups by my camera but I'll see what I can do.

Re: LT1 top end, heads & intake, mod'd for L-98 TPI

I tried to take some pics but couldn't get good detail. It's mild street-type gasket-match porting & bowl/short-side radius cleanup, nothing major. It's going on ebay soon. $600 for a complete ported TPI mini ram style top end is a DEAL.
