Is the posi worn out? Are the cones touching the housing?

 

The car had no motor and trans when I bought it so I dont know about it under torque but it turns both axles the same direction by hand and looks good (no crap in the bottom of it. oil was super clean). As for the cones I see no signs of any rubbing

 

Would you strap it on a pallet and ship it?
