I'll never understand why these intakes command such high prices when SR's, MR's and the new Edelbrock XT's can be had for substantially less money. Whatever.

 

Lingenfelter didn't design the SR or MR.

they did look Cool back in the day.... but done by 5800rpm.even with a larg mech roller..11to1cpr. the only way to get a bit more RPM with a bit of NOS...

been there done that..it was the 90s..
for a few dollars more one could get a 6-71 weand blower kit..and look cooler..and make more power..just sayn..

yes the eng was fun..11.70 foot brake.. with out power adders. with the NOS. 10.54...the new set up when in and tuned.. should be better
have not done much. the last few months. been doing the life thing...wife's pushing me with taunts.(some not so funny). lol...and yes them Valve covers are sweet..the real deal not knock off's.. ya put them to good use?..

picked up another set of the GM valve covers. this time I had them polished. then chrome plated


have 3 dif sets at this time..not going to use the covers that came with the eng..this shot ya can see the 2nd set I picked up and did the breathers in the front..as I did not like them in the back. like I did on the small block..

this sets nice..just not my cup of tea (below) note: breather in the back location pass side..

but like always lots of parts left over..
and having a larger Air cleaner made..3 1/2 tall filter. and a bit bigger base..the unit in the pic is only 2" tall..way to small..
this is the type below.. just with a flat lid and base.. clear..

why not..
