I built for a drag project years ago. Been sitting in the garage for a while. Was installed in car but never driven. $1500. Not looking to ship across the country. Located in the south side of Chicago

When you say you built it, does that mean it was a used housing that you got second-hand and changed gears and differential? It's obviously used, just trying to figure out the history.

Bought the rear off a guy in new York. He had it on a race car. He took a few teeth off the ring gear... I bought and rebuilt with new gear set and bearings. I never finished my project.

I'm tempted to jump on this. Just not a fan of thinking how a spool will do on the street

 

I couldn't tell ya as I never finished the project, but I was able to push the car around without any trouble. You would get a skip when turning extremely sharp.

 

Any idea who made the housing?
