Torque arm mount clamshell assy. for manual trans.

Like the title says, I need the clamshells for the TA mount for a manual trans. Anyone have one?

The one I had was for an automatic. I got another one if I can find it. Not sure if it's manual or auto.

Axle/Gears: good question...
Do you need the one that mounts to the trans, or the one that holds the torque arm to the trans?

As I figured, the dealer chain here no longer has any older, obsolete part numbers in their systems.

Anyone have one of these, or even a current part number to feed to one of the online suppliers?

I found a torque arm mount but I'll have to look at it in the morning to see if it's for auto or man. I'll get you a picture tomorrow. It is a complete mount with bolts too.

Sorry guys, my fault. I left my brain and my grain of salt at home and spent too much time surfing the net. Contrary to whats been posted in the past on here, there probably is no special TA mount. Theyre both probably the same.

Doesnt much matter, anyhow, as I was looking through the bag of parts from the supplier of my TKO and the TA adapter bracket isnt there. Ordered it, thought it was there, but it aint there, so it wont matter the least as Ill have to probably make something, or spend more money.

I noticed that that one is for an auto as well. Not that it matters, but is there a special one for the manuals?

Yes, The 5 speed ones have shorter mounting bolts. I have a V6 5 speed in an 89. The mounts are the same. I'll look and see if its still there..........jt
