Thanks a lot for the offer, but I don't think it'll work either. I called up AutoZone and they said the parts for a V6 are entirely different from the parts for a V8.

Turns out the sensor and the solenoid are connected via electric wires...it's the set that attaches right behind the EGR on the passenger side on a 2.8L. And I still need it. My car is sending lots fo exhaust out and smells like gas when I punch the throttle, which didn't happen when the EGR sensor was working. :/

EDIT: Just compared parts at Advance Auto's website...the 5.0 and 5.7 EGR solenoids are one piece and cheaper...the 2.8 is connected to the sensor and about double the price of the other two. So I can only use the 2.8L version.

I am not sure if this is the same as what you are requesting? If I recall it is off of a 89' 2.8L V/6. The price for the EGR by itself runs $20.00 plus shipping and handling or with the Heat Riser and Corigated Tube runs $40.00 plus shipping and handling. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached toll free in the United States at (800) 460-6789 or outside the United States at (818) 700-7970.

Thank you,

Nope, sorry, that's the EGR itself. I need the solenoid/sensor combo.
