i have one on the 305 i just took out that you could have cheap but i dont know what year it is because it was not original to my 87 camaro if there is any way to tell just let me know and ill take a closer look.

 

The only thing i know is that if you look at the gasket, the ones for the 80 - 85 have a 4 piece gasket pretty much, it's 2 rails along the side and then 2 curved pieces for the front and back. I dont know how they came after 86 originally, but if you buy a gasket now it's a one piece gasket.

80 was first year for pass side oil stick


if the engine decodes as an 80-86then that is what he needs
