Re: wtb complete tbi intake
IM TELLIN YA> an entire tbi setup including tbi, tbi intake, ecm, wiring harness, and whatever else is worth WELL over what an intake is worth. i can also throw in the maifolds w/o air if you want

Re: wtb complete tbi intake
I`M pretty sure I can use all the 4.3 tbi stuff for the 305 other than the eprom or whatever it has.The ecm is the same from what I`ve been told.So is the tb and injectors.Since the 4.3 is a 350 with 2 cylinders missing most stuff should work.I just need an intake with 2 extra cylinders and maybe a few other things.I`m also putting some lt`s on my iroc soon and I`m gonna try and see if the flowtechs will fit the truck.and I do have the stock manifolds.Air is easy to remove.I guess I shouldnt have said I need an entire set up.I would take one for the right price but I think I can make it work with the intake and maybe the e prom.I thought I could find a couple dozen people with these things lying around fairly cheap.I`m sure theres a few hundred thousand in junkyards around here.

Re: wtb complete tbi intake
If you're interested, I have a TBI intake that's been bored to accept the 454 throttle body unit. I also have the throttle body and extra spacer. I can throw in some gaskets too.
Let me know.

Re: wtb complete tbi intake
Thats not going to be too much for a 305 with a mild cam and a little headwork.I`m not going for power here.Torque orriented engine for my 4x4 truck. Its the lb9 I took out of my Iroc. That seems like it may be a lot of air for lil 305.What do you think?how much you want for it?I`m not looking to spend much money on this thing.

Re: wtb complete tbi intake
Just thinking aloud here: if you're doing head work and adding a mild cam, you won't benefit much from it unless you supply more air. The 454 TB is considerably wider which would comlement the headwork nicely. I thought $150 could do it. I'm not in it for the money, just need to cover my original cost.

Re: wtb complete tbi intake
That makes perfectly good senseI was just thinking 305....454....lil bit of difference there.Price sounds great for what you got there.Biggest prob is I just bought a house and I`m still moveing in.Broke aint the word for it.Be a week or two before I`ll have any extra money.BTW,what size injectoes would that call for?Would the stock ones be adequate? What about tuneing?I would need a tune anyhow with a cam swap so anyway.
