Have a 9" Currie. Would be the last axle you'd have to buy, can handle lots of power.

Re: this one tire fire is killin me

look for a locker it locks the rearend together as one until you go to take a corner then it unlocks and lets one wheel spin slower the only downside is there not like a posi with clutches and stuff so they make alot of noise unlocking specialy if your taking a corner realy realy slow 2/5mph almost sounds like ur breaking gear teeth i've had a few people go oh **** whats wrong with your rearend when i do 2/5 mile corner and i go oh no don't worry its supposed to do that but i love my locker with a set of 3.73 before that i had the 2.79 and a open differential. 2.79 s hould have not been put in these cars espicialy in the tbi ones got the locker and 3.73 put in and my mechanic did a 300 ft burnout after he put it in thought my tranny was slipping and didnt realize he was spinning tire till the car filled with smoke. lockers are alot cheaper 200/300 new instead of 500/600 for a new posi unit
