WTB:Stock 1986 305 timing cover w/ tab

I would like a timing cover for my 305 that still has the tab attached mine is broken off. I have a 1986 Firebird t/a.

I cant get any pics my camra is not working. left it in the car on a hot day now it's junk.

Couldn't you just bolt on another timing tab..the aftermarket type? You wouldn't need to mess with the R&R of a timing cover. The tabs are $2.99 from Speedway 7" or 8"..FYI only: a new chrome cover and tab set is only $10 from them.

Those are never accurate, unless you go and degree the cam and all that shiz. The factory tab and cover will be very accurate. I find it easier to put a new cover on, thats just me. Also degree wheels are expensive.I also want to put new gaskets on stuf, and I need a water pump etc.

I know I thought the same thing, my mechanic friend gave me a HUGE speech about it, with a lot of stuff I did not need to know. lol.
