3rd Gens are three link suspensions. What would be the upper control arms in a four link are controlled by the torque arm in 3rd gens...and 4th gens, for that matter. So to upgrade from stock, you need a high performance torque arm. The best, in my opinion, is Spohn. It's an integrated system that uses a special transmission crossmember to mount the high performance torque arm. I happen to have the transmission crossmember but not the torque arm. Look at the Spohn website.

Re: WTB: Misc Engine & Suspension Parts

I've got a CS144 that fits a V6 (100* Bolt spacing, versus the 180* you need to adapt to factory serpentine). :/ Seems that you're upping to a V8 though. If you're using the factory serpentine, then it won't work, but if you're fabbing something up, it works fine.

Ill take the Alternator, but probably pass on the Distributor for now because a lack of funds. PM me your Paypal username if you have one.

---------------------------------------------

Updated List:

GM Performance Fast Burn Heads
Valve Covers
Air Cleaner
Distributor
Wire Looms
MSD Ignition
Possibly Headers
Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace (TBI)

Now after I buy the Intake, Carb, Alternator, and possibly a few little things Ill be tight on funds for a week or two, but Ill still be looking for parts for when I have the money.
