You can cut your stock ones for free. If they aren't work & sagginhg, they'll be good. Just don't use a torch to cut them & avoid adding excessive heat. Heat is what will ruin springs.

Re: lowering springs anyone?

You say you need a pair? If so, do you need the front or the back. Or...do you really want a set?

Stiffer will depend on what the spring rate is. A V6 spring is a lot softer than a WS6 spring.

To cut them, use a GOOD sawzall or better...Use a 3.5" grinder with a thin (1/8") GOOD metal cutting wheel. When I did mine, I set them in a bucket of water, with only the top few coils sticking out & cut them then. That way, the water was dispresing any heat that was introduced. Overkill? Probably. But I felt better doing it that way so.......

Re: lowering springs anyone?

I've got a set that was pulled from a 92 RS....$75+ shipping.

I don't know the make but they were coated red and I know that Jamax springs are red - ( They might be Jamax springs ). They are rusty but not damaged in any way and the replacement mounting pads are included.

If your interested - post your ZIP code for a shipping quote.
