I need a disk brake proportion valve to fit my 88 Camaro. I believe it is the first design that is mostly fine threaded. And Im running a 94 z28 disk rear.

I actually seen you post that site earlier when I was searching through old threads. Going to see if I can find one cheaper that is used first. Then buy new if i have to.

I need to sell the one I have. Or trade. I have the newer one, 89-92. Found that out the hard way today. lol

 

I have one from an 86 T/A and one from an 88 GTA both J65 4 wheel disc cars.Asking 50 dollars shipped

I had a similar problem after I had my rear swapped in the 89 vert.I pulled a disc prop valve from a 90 formula 350 and it would work.Luckily I had also purchased one from thomas at house of camaro which was from an 89 iroc and it fit.The brakes now feel 100% better

 

Just a note: All four-wheel disc cars, 82-92, are RPO J65. Only the 89+ cars, however, will have the 1LE-type combination valve (and there are two designs, first and second). When you mentioned first design, the above is what came to mind.

well with a lot of help from my82Iroc, it turns out that since I have a 94 z28 rearend then I need a proportion valve for PBR brakes that will fit my 88.

Anybody out there have one for sell?
