V8 Engine Mounts Needed!!!

I am in need of a pair of stock mounts for a V8 engine in a 82-92 F-Body. These are the one that bolt to the engine, not the ones that bolt to the K-Member. The GM part numbers: 334972 or 10213125 (LHS); 14039486 (RHS).

Let me know what you have. PM me or email directly at gta_1@bellsouth.net

Thanks

Re: V8 Engine Mounts Needed!!!

There are no engine side "bucket" mounts available through an aftermarket company, that mate with a stock style "clamshell" frame mount.
I manage a NAPA and the only thing offered is the, rubber inserted, "clamshell" style mount. The solid steel "bucket" mounts, that bolt to the engine, are a non-wearable part. That is why they are not produced by DORMAN or any other aftermarket parts producer.

Your best/cheapest option is to go to a local salvage yard and buy a set from them for $15-20

Re: V8 Engine Mounts Needed!!!

John in RI- I found a set on Saturday, and they should be shipping tomorrow. I 'll let you know if they work as intended. Thank you.

RITTER- Thanks for chiming in, as for some unknown reason there are those that think you can get everything at the local auto parts store. I have an Advance Auto less than 1/2 mile from me, and if they carried the ENGINE MOUNTS, I would not have wasted my time posting this thread.

Re: V8 Engine Mounts Needed!!!

I think I am going to start collecting these mounts, so I have them as soon as somebody is needing a set
