Anyone have one? It's the wire that connects the Distributor (ICM) to the Ignition Coil. It's the black connector on the Ignition coil that slides under the grey connector. see attached. Thanks!
gm 12039177 acdelco 12048976 its the same as tbi trucks

Thanks dude. Everyone else wanted like $30...
no problem, id yours can be repaired I can give you the part number for each connector.

Hey, sorry to bring this back up but i think that wire is the cause of an intermittant code 42 im fighting with. I noticed where the connector plugs into the distributor (ign. coil, correct?) it is loose. I can wobble it freely and its loose enough that i know if i hit any bumps in the road it is wiggling. It wont come off, but it moves freely. The other connector next to it (which I believe runs into the wiring harness) doesnt budge at all. And its not the female connector on the distributors end that moves, thats perfectly still. Just the connector on the short harness that is loose.
What would cause that?? Is there supposed to be an isulator around the connector thats come off or is there something wrong with the connector? I unplugged it and looked at it and it looks ok, but theres no insulator (little rubber boot-thing that goes around the connector, so when its plugged in nothing can get in the connector). Is that what is causing the problem?
Thanks
Sorry, just saw that picture and noticed the blue little boot that is supposed to be there. Mine IS missing that. But would that little boot really be the only reason the connector is loose?

the blue boot is a weather pack seal from packard you can get them on tbi trucks and at mouser.com. The seal prevent water / moisture from going into the icm I think the number is 12162189-B delphi / or packard.

Ok, thanks. I used that troubletree and every single thing checked out. I'm not sure what it could be anymore, and when I saw that the connector going from the icm to the coil was very loose I thought that was a very possible cause of my intermittant "loose ground" condition.
Is this possible?
Is this possible?
I would suspect a loose connection on the icm Tan/Wht wire est bypass.
