WTB: Single Electric Fan

Hey anybody in Edmonton or the surrounding area.
I'm looking for a single electric fan for my Camaro. Mine fried the other day and I need a replacement.
Figured I'd try here before I hit the wrecking yards.

There is also the option of a Ford Taurus or other similar fan.

I would think international shipping would be more than the cost of the fan. Not to mention my ridiculously low Canadian dollar. 80 cents to the US buck!
Thanks just the same.

Now there's a thought...I'll have to investigate.

Also a thought although the idea of a drop in replacement suits me better. What I've got at my shop back home (I've recently moved cross country) is a the OEM dual fan arrangement but that'll take some adapting too. My aftermarket rad takes up a little more space than the stocker and it requires a couple of new mounting tabs to make it all fit.

Re: WTB: Single Electric Fan

I've managed to source out a stock replacement at a local wrecking rad that specializes (as in only has) Camaros and Firebirds.
I signed up as a "VIP" member and got 30 points off the asking price. 50 bucks for a complete assembly. Not too bad I guess.
Thanks for the replies.

Are you talking about david T's? I cant imagine he would dell the dirt off of a mudflap for 50 bux. I went looking for a headliner and he wanted almost 600 bux.

I don't know if this helps you, but for low cost:

Yep. David T's. I'd heard a lot of stories about his style although I will say he was more than accommodating. He made a trip into the yard and came up with a couple of replacements and I had my pick. What I didn't do was take advantage of the membership within the year allotted. While the fan was reasonably priced (at least I thought so) other items weren't. A replacement dash pad was north of 500 (might have been 600) but he had none in stock.

I hadn't checked that out. I managed to get a replacement is a reasonably short time and it was OEM which also left me with a few spare parts. I also have a third gen dual fan arrangement from a 85 TA that I've been meaning to fit. It's just another item on a long list of upgrades, repairs and modifications that I've been trying to get done for the last 2 or 3 years.
