3.27 posi

Hello! I am currently looking for a Borg Warner 9 bolt disc rear axle with 3.27 gears(replacing my 2.77 rear) for my 89' IROC. Would preferably like one in nice condition. I live in Columbus, NC. Please feel free to let me know what you have. Thank you so much for your time!

Hi there Fred,

I believe that I have what you're looking for, please take a quick look at my 'for sale' thread on LS1Tech.

That rear also has LCA relocation brackets tacked on to it as well. If you're interested, shoot me a PM, that's probably the quickest way to reach me right now.

Thank you,

V8Rumble

No, I just sent the money gram a few days ago and I'm not hearing back like he said. Told me he would let me know when he shipped it in a day or two. This is day 4. Things just aren't adding up here. I'm starting to see some red flags that I should have been suspicious about earlier, pretty sure I just got scammed out of $600. I must say I feel like a complete idiot. Please everybody, be careful out there! Don't be a gullible moron like me. I think this is someone else who is posing as V8Rumble.

Damn $600. You should find a rear end out of a s10 they are posi and come with disc brakes they are fairly strong from what i heard.

Re: 3.27 posi

Oh god, it makes me sick to read this. I spent a little while trying to figure out how to get a weight for the rear end so that I could get a valid shipping quote, then as time went by, I allowed it to "fall between the cracks" as it were. (No point in going into much detail, since at this point it would just be "excuses" anyway...)

I wouldn't blame you a bit if you're totally soured on the deal, but I have a shipping weight now, & if you decide that you still want it, I'll knock a significant chunk off of the price. I can't completely make up for what's happened, but maybe I can take a little bit of the sting out of it.

If you do decide that you're still interested in the rear, I'll PM you my cell & home numbers so that you can contact me at any time.

I'm truly sorry to hear of what happened Fred.

Re: 3.27 posi

Thank you sir, but I guess I only have myself to blame. I am finally ready to try again for a 3.27, but unfortunately I can only use PayPal from now on. If you cant use PayPal then I understand, no worries I have a local junkyard I can try too. If you are OK with PayPal however, then Id like to talk price and see what we can do!
Thanks,
Fred
