Just a heads up, saw a post on a corvette forum not that long ago.
the happy hooker was defective and gave way while a engine was in the air.
bent the crank. Tpis was good enough to help the guy out with crank replacement.
unless you have a fourth gen you might want to remove the intake and use a chain.
good luck with your searching.

I think that happened to one of the guys locally to me. He had the engine out of his C4 just redone, it was on the hoist and snap. Dropped a fully dressed engine 3-4 feet straight down. Luckily enough nobody was under it. He had a video, but I can't seem to find the post anymore.
Well maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I have been told numerous times that they are being made and the date keeps getting pushed back. It's been about 3 weeks after they posted on facebook with a pic and comment that they were in production . Still nothing. I dont really want to remove the intake. I'll be able to get it out with a chain. If someone made a carb type plate that would bolt up to tpi/ miniram that would work. Thank you both for the help and insight.

I have searched so many forums and posts on the happy hooker and have never seen one failure. If you could link the post or thread it would be appreciated. I searched corvette forum( I'm a member)and nothing came up negative.
Bolts to top of miniram, lt1 intake and tpi lower as well as carb. Dont have to remove manifold to remove engine. Its forte is taking lt1 engine out the top. I have alot of powdercoated and polished stuff on engine and really dont want to lay chains all over it .
